About Viviana Taylor
Viviana Taylor was born in Los Angeles, California in 1981. She studied at the University of Phoenix in Tucson, Arizona. She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2010 and her Master of Science in Counseling Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2015. She is a member of the National Board for Certified Counselors, Inc since 2016. Viviana currently resided in Tucson, Arizona with her loving husband Hon., Douglas Taylor Sr., and 5 children: Rudy, Mateo, Elizabeth, Anyssa and Douglas II. Viviana is currently working from home on her art and taking care of her young son Douglas age 4.
At the age of 5 Viviana was a budding artist. She would enjoy painting, drawing and creating. At the age of 15 she took a class at the University of Arizona called Old Masters Painting, were she learned of her inspirational artist such as Leonardo da Vinci and Michael Angelo. As a mental health professional, Viviana humanistic virtue has inclined incorporate the arts to some of her young client with Art Therapy as a healing tool. Some of her art pieces featured on her website are: A twisted Fairytale collection of three Mr. Rabbit, Dear O’l Alice, and Mouse in battle; Soy Frida, Mother Moon. These art pieces are acrylic on canvas. Â
As a previous foster parent Viviana teamed up with coordinator Phyllis from a place to call home, Beki from The Peace Garden to collect suitcase donations for foster children to store their possession. Viviana painted the logo for the project called My Case My Treasures and assisted in gathering donations. In 2001, Viviana had her first illustrated children’s book published called In the Peace Garden written by Beki Quintero. She also received an award in 2008 from League of Latin American Citizens (LULAC) as Emerging Artist. As a freelance artist Viviana illustrated her second book titled The Little Seed by Grandpa Gardener. These books are for young children with colorful pictures to capture a child’s imagination. Viviana is currently working on another children’s book written by Dr. Len Corte which should be featured in 2021.
